The incredible new tour gives viewers the chance to explore the story of the last pitched battle on British soil.

A brand new virtual tour is giving Outlander fans and history buffs the chance to explore the historic battlefield of Culloden like never before.

Narrated by Outlander star Graham McTavish, the unique 360-degree tour places visitors right in the midst of the last ever pitched battle on British soil.

Placing you on the field of Culloden Moor on that cold, wet dawn on April 16, 1746, the new website, created by the National Trust for Scotland, aims to show you what it was like to be one of the exhausted Jacobite warriors facing off against the well-trained Government troops and making their last stand.

A brand new virtual tour is giving Outlander fans and history buffs the chance to explore the battlefield of Culloden.

Men in Kilts star Graham is certainly no stranger to the battlefield, having played one of the Jacobites, a clansman named Dougal Mackenzie, in the hit show Outlander.

He also recently visited the site in an episode of his Scotland-based travel show Men in Kilts with fellow Outlander star Sam Heughan where Catriona McIntosh took them on a tour of the site.

Now the Scots actor is repaying the favor by narrating for the exciting virtual tour, meaning fans who can’t currently travel to Scotland to check out the visitor centerโ€™s 360-degree battle immersion theatre don’t miss out.

Part of a schedule of events around the 275th-anniversary of the battle, those looking to experience the tour (for free), can find it here.
